Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences from Northern Arizona University in 2006 and holds both a Speech-Language Pathologist-Limited (SLP-L) license through the Arizona Department of Health Services and a Speech-Language Technician (SLT) certification through the Arizona Department of Education.

Throughout her career, Laura has specialized in supporting students with a broad range of communication needs, including articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social/pragmatic skills, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Today, Laura offers virtual, non-clinical speech and language tutoring services through her private practice, Laura’s Speech Tutoring. Her services focus on academic and social communication development, providing personalized coaching, guided practice, and consultation for individuals and families outside of formal therapy settings. While her tutoring services do not include evaluations or diagnoses, Laura draws on her extensive school-based experience to create meaningful, skill-building opportunities for students.

She is an approved vendor with the Arizona ESA program and Florida’s Step Up for Students, with additional states in process. Laura is also expanding her services to include specialized programs for adolescents and young adults transitioning into adulthood, with a focus on social skills, perspective-taking, workplace communication, interview preparation, and functional life skills.

Laura is passionate about helping individuals build confidence in their communication abilities and is honored to partner with families on their journey.
